About this test

As well as all the checks included in the Active package, your Core package also includes a blood health profile giving an additional 10 readings including platelets, haemoglobin and white and red blood cell count.

Building on the Active package, the Core package provides you with a more detailed overview of your heart health and stroke risk, with the addition of a blood health profile. Including red blood cells, white blood cells and platelet count, this important test provides a greater insight into common blood disorders including Anaemia, haemophilia and clotting disorders. An abnormal white blood cell count may indicate low immunity or could be indicative of an infection or very occasionally could be suggestive of something more serious such as a blood cancer. Detected abnormalities would require you to undertake more testing with your own GP.
