About this test

This is a test for the bacteria that causes Cat Scratch Fever. The test looks for IgG antibodies, indicating past infection. As this illness can co-exist with Lyme Disease, and indeed as both conditions share similar symptoms, it is often recommended to test for both Cat Scratch Fever and Lyme Disease at the same time.
