Many foreign countries are requiring travellers to provide proof that they are negative for coronavirus at the time of arriving in the country – this is a Fit to Fly certificate. Depending on which country you are travelling to, you may be required to take a PCR Covid-19 test within a certain time frame – usually between 48-96 hours – of arriving at your destination.

Our Fit to Fly tests are recognised globally as the gold-standard, highest accuracy RT-PCR tests. 

What do you need to do before leaving England?

1. Review the specific requirements for the country you are travelling to – examples of places to find out this information are the Government’s website, your airlines website, or the UK Government’s website
2. Order your at-home test kit or book your Pod test appointment allowing enough time to complete the test and wait for your results
3. Do your test on a suitable day/time that fits the specific time frame required for the country you are visiting
4. Receive your results online within 24 hours of us receiving your sample at our lab
5. If your results are negative, present them at departures as your Fit to Fly certificate, ahead of leaving England. Bon voyage!

The Test to Release for International Travel scheme is an optional PCR test that travellers arriving in England, from non-red list countries, can take on day 5 after arriving to reduce their quarantine period. Test to Release is an additional Covid test and does not replace the mandatory day 2 and 8 tests that are also required when arriving in England, as part of the Travel Testing Package. 

Our tests are gold-standard, highest accuracy RT-PCR tests. 

What do you need to do before arriving in England?

1. Book your Test to Release test – via either an at home test kit or visit one of our Test Pods in England
2. Enter the order details on your passenger locator form 

What do you need to do once you’ve arrived in England?

1. Travel to your quarantine address and remain there for a minimum of five full days

1. Test on day 5 – either at home with our home test kit or at one of our pop-up Test Pods
2. Receive your results online within 24 hours of us receiving your sample at our lab
3. If your results are negative, end your quarantine early!

The UK Government requires all international travellers arriving in England, from non-red list countries, to take two coronavirus tests on arrival on day 2 and day 8 after arrival, via a Travel Testing Package, bought from a private provider. The tests are to help detect any new Covid-19 variants that might be entering the UK from abroad. 

Our tests are gold-standard, highest accuracy RT-PCR tests and we cover the cost of any required genetic sequencing if your day 2 test results are positive.

What do you need to do before arriving in England?

1. Order your Travel Testing Package to your quarantine address
2. Add your order’s booking reference on your passenger locator form 

What do you need to do once you’ve arrived in England?

1. Travel to your quarantine address and remain there for 10 days (the day you arrive in England is day 0)
2. Receive your two Covid-19 tests on or before day 2 of your quarantine by post
3. Take the tests on day 2 and day 8 following the easy-to-follow instructions provided in the kit box
4. Send your samples to our laboratory using the pre-paid envelopes provided
5. End your quarantine if both day 2 and day 8 results are negative and you’ve quarantined for 10 days
